Both the School Choir and a group of 6 dancers were selected to perform at the highly prestigious Voices and Visions Showcase events at the Malvern Theatres.

On Wednesday 2 July 2008 the choir spent a day at the theatre to complete a sound check, final rehearsal and full dress rehearsal, and then we performed the song ‘Make Someone Happy’ that evening, to an audience of about 500 people! Our main dressing room was a big marquee just outside the theatre, and it was really exciting waiting for our turn to perform and mixing with the other schools there.

Two days later the dancers made their way over to Malvern and in the same way prepared for their performance of ‘Evolution’. It was great to take part in such professional productions, and to see the excellent work of the other schools taking part too!
