Our Activity Day at the Riding School
April 30th 2007

We had a lovely day learning and doing lots of things at the Riding School.

First of all we watched the farrier at work.

Then we all tried mucking out, but it was so dark inside the stable that you could not see anything!

We all enjoyed grooming the horses.  Their summer coats were falling out and it was very hard work.

Then we had to get them ready for our afternoon ride. We put on the saddles and bridles and then we all had a lovely ride in the sunshine.  It was a great day!

One of our pupils gained the highest award ever achieved within all of Worcestershire when she passed the Bronze Level Award in Pony Care within the Riding for the Disabled scheme.

She passed with flying colours and we are all very proud of her.

Her favourite horse is called Stan.
