VOICES AND VISIONS DANCE SHOWCASE 2008 We are delighted that 6 pupils have been selected to perform their dance 'Evolution' at the Voices and Visions Dance Showcase in July 2008. The showcase is part of a series of exhibitions and performances celebrating children and young people's achievements in the arts in Worcestershire. We first performed our dance at the Bromsgrove District Dance Festival in February. We decided to wear unusual outfits and make-up to compliment the contemporary theme of our dance - even the boys were happy to wear some face paint and to put glitter in their hair! Here are some photographs of us getting ready and of our performance at the Artrix Theatre in Bromsgrove. |

Blue Eyed Soul Dance Workshop May 2007 In May two dancers from the Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company spent two days with pupils from both Chadsgrove School and North Bromsgrove High School. We danced with partners and then joined with another pair to make our work into a short piece. The dancing involved a lot of balancing and stretching. It was really really good fun - we made lots of new friends and everyone enjoyed our final performances. by Matthew Age 15 |

Each year, Chadsgrove School hosts Bromsgrove’s annual Country Dance Festival. We have been hosting this festival for over 20 years now! Over 60 pupils attended from other local schools. Chadsgrove pupils performed 2 dances from the Isle of Man in traditional Manx costume … |
